Baked Cinnamon Tortilla Chips with Vanilla Cream Cheese Dip

Ever wanted something sweet but have absolutely nothing in your house? Checked the fridge about 10 times, hoping something would magically pop up? Well guess what, that was me, so here is a simple and yummy treat with ingredients you may already have!

Ingredients

Directions

First, gather all of your ingredients and begin by cutting your 4 tortillas. You want to cut them into about 7 to 8 different triangles. Once you get them cut, begin to melt your butter in a separate bowl. Mix your sugar and cinnamon together in an additional, separate bowl. Preheat your oven to 400° and begin your chips!

Brush your butter on each tortilla and then sprinkle your sugar mix on each side of the chip.

Don't lose this recipe! Drop your email and we'll send it to you, so you've got it handy the next time you're planning dinner.

Tip: Don’t do what I do and coat them completely with the sugar. Just use very little for each side.

Place on the pan and separate them with plenty of room to bake. Once all of your chips are completed, place them in the oven and bake for 6-9 minutes.

Tip: You want to start checking around the 5-minute mark. Look for any golden tips on the edges! They will also cook as they cool.

Once you get the perfect color, remove from the oven and let cool completely.

Cream Cheese Dip

You can now begin your cream cheese dip.

In a small soup bowl or cereal bowl, combine 2 ounces of room temperature cream cheese, 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla, 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar, and 2 tablespoons of milk.

Mix all together and try to get as many clumps out as you can. No need in getting some fancy kitchen tool out to mix. Just use a fork and beat as well as you can.

If your dip is a little too liquidy, you can add 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar to help with the thickness. However, that is completely up to you. I like mine to be a medium texture.

Place to the side and then start serving your chips. Just a little tip, if your chips are kind of flimsy or soft, you can place in the oven and bake for an additional three minutes.

Dip in your dip (LOL) and enjoy a yummy, warm, delicious treat!
