As a well-known food reviewer who seems to be open to trying crazy new things all the time from varying locations, you may assume that Guy Fieri, the infamous fast-talking host of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, is willing to eat just about anything.

Yet, that’s not necessarily the case.
Just like anyone, Guy Fieri has his own list of food that he refuses to eat due to bad experiences. As extensive as his palate may be, there’s always a limit to favorite foods.
So… What Food Does Guy Fieri Not Eat?

There’s a decent list of the types of food that Guy Fieri won’t eat, but sitting right at the top two most important spots is liver and eggs.
One of these seems pretty reasonable, but the other might need a bit more explaining.
Liver

Guy Fieri doesn’t like to eat liver, but quite a lot of people would agree that this particular meat, which is full of iron, isn’t the tastiest source of protein. Though it may be a very nutritious meal, it’s not the best looking either.

It’s not that Guy Fieri refuses to eat foods that aren’t in your typical day-to-day rotation. In fact, he’s eaten unusual foods before, such as pig’s feet and grasshopper tacos. Yet, liver in particular just doesn’t sit well with him, so Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives will probably never feature the dish.
Eggs

While that last food may have been understandably distasteful, Guy Fieri’s aversion to eggs is a little less common. Although, his reasoning makes it a little bit more justified.

When he was a child, Guy Fieri once cracked an egg to find a rather disturbing sight of a nearly fully-formed chicken inside, which is definitely an easy way to turn someone away from eating eggs.
Guy also once ate an overcooked hard-boiled egg, which furthered his hatred for the food due to the unappealing smell and chalky yolk.
Other Foods Guy Fieri Won’t Eat
Though liver and eggs are the main two culprits, Guy Fieri still has a few other food items that he would prefer not to eat.
On one of the episodes of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, featuring Cora Faye’s Cafe in Denver, Colorado, Fieri tried chitterlings and did not enjoy the seasoned pig intestines one bit.

Another pork dish that Guy Fieri isn’t particularly fond of, though he usually enjoys the meat, is scrapple, which he tasted at The Dining Car in Philadelphia on an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. This fried loaf of pork scraps and cornmeal just didn’t seem to sit right with the food reviewer.

When it comes to spicy food, Guy Fieri is great at handling remarkable levels of heat. However, he does have a limit in the form of ghost peppers.
On Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, he tried ghost pepper hot sauce from the Jamaican restaurant Jawaiian Irie Jerk Restaurant and chicken wings made with ghost peppers, scotch bonnets, and habaneros from Smalley’s Caribbean Barbecue.
Both of these had Guy Fieri desperately looking for relief from the heat. Although, you can’t really blame him considering ghost peppers are considered to be the hottest chili peppers on the planet!
Guy Fieri… He’s Just Like Us
While it may be hard to imagine Guy Fieri, the always positive and energized food reviewer and chef, not liking a type of food, it’s definitely very possible.
Just like most people, he’s got an aversion to some particularly unique types of food, such as liver, chitterlings, and scrapple.
He even has gained a distaste for eggs because of past experiences, which can happen to even the best of us. And while he can usually handle any heat that comes at him, ghost peppers are something otherworldly.
In the end, Guy Fieri has a pretty vast palate for trying new things, but he’s human and his taste buds aren’t going to appreciate just everything that makes its way onto his plate. At least the adventurous host has a say in what dishes and restaurants appear on Food Network’s Diners, Dive-Ins, and Dives so that he can prepare himself a bit better!
