The Local restaurant in Coral Gables, Florida, is fantastic. The atmosphere is chill and inviting and the people-watching is great. The menu is eclectic, offering a variety of options to suit everyone’s tastes. The happy hour deal and cocktails are especially impressive. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I had the truffle fries and chicken bites, which were both very tasty. The burger was moist and flavorful, and the disco fries were cheesy and wonderful. The bone marrow dish was superb, served in a split bone with locally baked buttery bread. The fried chicken and biscuit sliders were also very good. Finally, their twist on shrimp and grits, using creamy rice grits, was delightful. Overall, The Local is a wonderful place to have an enjoyable meal and a great time.
