Crockpot Game Day Chili with Three Bean Blend and Bell Peppers

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of hamburger meat
  • 20-ounce can of tomato sauce (I also added an additional 15.5-ounce can just for a little extra liquid. If you like your chili thicker, the one 20 oz. can will work just fine!)
  • 15.5 oz. can of dark red kidney beans
  • 15.5 oz. can of light red kidney beans
  • 15.5 oz. can of chili beans
  • 1 oz. packet of mild chili powder seasoning (you can use hot, original, or whatever you prefer.)
  • 1 green bell pepper (OPTIONAL)
  • 1/2 of a yellow onion (OPTIONAL)

Directions

Begin by cooking your hamburger meat. You want the meat to be completely done before placing it in the crockpot. Once it is cooked well, drain the meat completely free of grease. Add it to your crockpot and add your chili seasoning. Mix together really well and make sure all the meat is completely coated.

To the side, dice both bell pepper and onions. Cut them to your liking and your size preference. I like mine noticeable.

Add in your tomato sauce, beans, and veggies and mix really well until all is combined.

Then add in some garlic salt and any additional seasonings you wish to add.

Mix well and turn your crockpot on high heat and cook for 2 hours.

Enjoy with some ritz crackers and topped with cheese! Taste better with some football on the TV and a cold fall day!
