Nacho Cheese Crunchy Tacos

This one is exactly what it sounds like: a crunchy shell with seasoned beef and a thick nacho-cheese layer. Put the cheese against the shell before the beef so it catches loose crumbles. Lettuce goes in cold and last.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 crunchy taco shells
  • 2 cups prepared seasoned beef base
  • 1 cup warm nacho cheese sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. Warm the crunchy taco shells at 325°F for 4 minutes.
  2. Reheat the seasoned beef to 165°F and stir until saucy.
  3. Spoon 2 tablespoons nacho cheese into the bottom of each shell.
  4. Divide the hot beef among the shells.
  5. Top with shredded lettuce and cheddar.
  6. Serve within 5 minutes to preserve the crunch.
