Hawaiian Pulled Pork Sliders

Pineapple, ham and pulled pork give these small baked sandwiches a salty-sweet center. The fruit is drained and patted dry so the soft rolls toast instead of steaming apart. A mustard-butter wash browns the connected tops and adds a savory edge.

  • 1 package 12 count Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 3 cups cooked pulled pork
  • 1/3 cup thick barbecue sauce
  • 6 thin slices deli ham
  • 6 canned pineapple rings drained and patted dry

  3. Mix the pulled pork with the barbecue sauce and spread it evenly over the rolls.
  4. Layer on the ham, pineapple rings and Swiss cheese and replace the roll tops.
  5. Whisk the melted butter, mustard and Worcestershire and brush it over the tops.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 12 minutes, then uncover and bake 8 to 10 minutes until browned and hot.
