The Joint is a great choice for a relaxed yet delicious meal. Located in the Baywater area of New Orleans, the restaurant has a down-home atmosphere and excellent service. We visited on a Thursday evening and were pleased to find it not too crowded. The menu offers a variety of BBQ options including brisket, sausage, and ribs. The portions were huge and the meat was cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed the homemade potato salad and coleslaw. The owner was friendly and even gave us a free slice of key lime pie. If you’re in the mood for good BBQ in a neighborhood atmosphere, The Joint is definitely worth a visit.
