French Toast Sticks Made From Cut-Up Bread Slices and Two Sugars

First we had the French toast pancakes; now I get to teach you the French toast sticks! Like the actual French toast!

Ingredients

Directions

In a small bowl, mix your eggs together until fluffy and smooth. Add in your sugars, vanilla, and cinnamon. For this step, mix really well until everything is completely combined. Make sure there are no lumps of cinnamon. It tends to stick to the bottom of the bowl and the sides.

Mix in your eggs and sugars

Once mixed well, begin cutting your bread into sticks. This is optional but my favorite way of doing it. You can also use the entire slice of bread.

Don't lose this recipe! Drop your email and we'll send it to you, so you've got it handy the next time you're planning dinner.

Cut those bread slices up!

Once completed, get a small skillet and melt just a smidge of butter. Begin to dip each stick in the egg mixture and coat each side well.

Place in the pan and cook until golden on low-medium heat. Repeat steps until done with each piece of bread.

Serving

Plate your French toast, sprinkle some powdered sugar, and coat with maple syrup for extra sweetness.

Serve with any additional breakfast food you desire.
